Plants Vs. Zombies is a fun arcade game by Popcapgames. even though that this game is just an small size arcade game, but this game is pretty entertaining. If you kinda bored of all the FPS or RTS PC game, try this game! i bet u'll like it. Well, as you know that this game is only can be played with Mac OS x or Windows XP/Vista/7. but how about playing it in Linux OS..??
We cannot play it in Linux just by installing it or copy all the game files to our Linux OS because the game is not supported with Linux. but there's one way to get us able to play it with Linux. It's by using Wine.
First, we need to install wine in our Linux.(i tested this with ubuntu)
For those who don't know how to Install Wine, click here.
and then install the game.
Install it just like you install it in Windows by Double click on the setup file and follow the instruction (click next, next, and next until finish).
when you finish the installation, the game shortcut will available in Applications>Wine>Programs and it'll also available in your desktop.
Double click it to play the game.. :)
well, you might notice that this game is a bit laggy at some part when u play it Linux. but it's not too much lag, only at the intro and game cutscene..
Here's Some Screenshot in my Ubuntu :
Have Fun... :D
and please leave a comment.. :)
